My rating: 3 of 5 stars

One of my review partners read this book and reports that it is highly entertaining and even caused laughs out loud more than once. The information feels well researched and honest. What you learn here just might be important sometime down the road, and having read this book you will be more prepared. Some of the ideas presented seemed to grow from personal experience giving the book a more personal touch often lacking in other books with similar audience. We were provided an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influenced our opinion.

This is actually entertaining to read. Being a huge NASCAR fan I was excited to get to read this book. I’ve read other books with the same sort of audience as far as taking care of your car, but I enjoyed this one more because of the NASCAR connection. I believe this book would make a great gift, especially to someone who may not realize that you need to take car of things besides washing off the dirt and putting gas in the tank. I received and ARC is exchange for an honest review. This in no way influenced my opinion, but having such a love for NASCAR did tempt me to rate it as five stars.

If you have any interest in James Brown and you like to read unveiled secrets then you’ll like this book. The writing is solid and the research seems well done and accurate. The stories are certainly entertaining. This book is best read as entertainment, not necessarily research, in my opinion. I was provided and ARC in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influenced my opinion.
