First off, this is the third book in a series and I highly suggest you read the first two books before this one. That said, this is one of the better historical romance books with a Christian theme that I’ve read in a long while. The historical aspect feels well researched and authentic, regardless of how accurate it actually may or may not be. The good vs. evil aspect is well handled although it might be a little much for the easily squeamish or sensitive. The characters are very well thought through and fleshed out from start of the series to finish. I received an ARC through the publisher, Tyndale, in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influenced my opinion.
